NJCU College of Professional Studies Summary

 

  • Managed over 30 full-time faculty, 100 adjuncts, and 16 staff across two different unions: The American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and Communication Workers of America (CWA).

  • Fostered over 10 new articulation agreements with various New Jersey community colleges and the different departments within the College of Professional Studies.

  • Designed innovative non-credit to for-credit pathways between the national non-profit organization NPower and the NJCU cybersecurity program.

  • Collaborated with the NJ State Division of Fire Science to launch a new statewide transfer agreement.

  • Oversaw the nursing department’s re-accreditation with the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

The Fort Monmouth Campus

  • NJCU @ Fort Monmouth is a 30-acre site on the decommissioned Fort Monmouth Army Base in Monmouth County.anaged transition of NJCU @ Wall Campus to NJCU @ Fort Monmouth campus and moved over 300 students and 20 faculty and staff.

  • Oversaw completion of major capital project in the renovation of the 76,000 square feet Squier Hall at Fort Monmouth during COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Created new community college articulation agreements, internship opportunities for local businesses, and partnership opportunities with non-profit organizations and businesses in the Monmouth region.

  • Responsible for managing, operating, and directing NJCU @ Fort Monmouth that contained a nursing education center, a cybersecurity lab, 15 state-of-the-art classrooms, and an event space.

  • Due to my extensive community reach undertaken by myself and my team we were awarded the Corporate Good Neighbor Award by the Monmouth Regional Chamber of Commerce.

  • Established, maintained, and fostered relationships with over 100 local, county, and statewide non-profit organizations, businesses, and government offices to connect NJCU @ Fort Monmouth students to the surrounding community.
