INTRODUCTION

Dr. Michael Edmondson is a prominent academic leader, serving as the Associate Provost for Continued Learning at NJIT and Vice President of the Learning and Development Initiative (LDI) at the New Jersey Innovation Institute. The LDI connects people to the skills and knowledge they need to succeed by offering skills-based learning non-degree credentials across a vibrant portfolio of webinars, courses, workforce development programs, and custom training. Dr. Edmondson is an accomplished author with eight published books, including Nurturing Equanimity: Creating A Caring Culture, and a forthcoming title, Achieving Productivity: 24 Essential Skills for High-Performing Teams (2025). His publishing record earned him a role as Co-Editor of Business Experts Press’s Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior Collection. In addition to writing, Dr. Edmondson is an experienced educator, teaching Oral Communication at the undergraduate level at NJIT and Non-Profit Leadership at Drexel University at the graduate level.
